Students complete a project to benefit the community and learn from leaders throughout the county. Each monthly agenda will give students opportunities to:

  • learn about and celebrate their hometown;
  • design and implement a community benefit project;
  • develop an understanding of local government and civic engagement;
  • be exposed to career opportunities in workplaces that exist across sectors;
  • see themselves as future leaders living, working and thriving in the greater Fond du Lac area.

Program Overview

Sophia believes leadership has the transformative power to create positive change in the world. By providing the next generation of emerging young leaders with the knowledge of how the community works and where its opportunities lie, we are equipping our youth with the skills to become leaders in their families, workplaces, and communities.

Through learning sessions designed for junior year high school students based on the philosophy of servant leadership, we are investing in the growth of our youth to be leaders who will better impact the world around us. This program provides youth with vital leadership experiences and allows them to contribute ideas and co-create solutions for the benefit of their community.
