As executive director for the past 12 years, Christa Williams brings servant leadership to life as the operational leader of Sophia Transformative Leadership Partners (Sophia), learning facilitator and chief strategist.  With more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in corporate, non-profit and educational settings, Christa has been mentored, guided and inspired by the foremost scholars in the servant leadership movement today including Sophia’s founder, Ginny Gilmore, Ann McGee-Cooper, Duane Trammel, Don Frick, Tom Thibodeau and more.  She takes inspiration from the work of Robert K. Greenleaf, Peter Block, Peter Senge, Parker Palmer, Dawna Markova, and Margaret Wheatley to name just a few.

Christa earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from UW-Oshkosh with Masters of Servant Leadership courses at Viterbo University.  She has additional training and certifications in the areas of servant leadership, compassionate listening, and group facilitation.  She is dedicated to leading with a servant’s heart and “engaging and igniting the potential” in people to live together as a caring community.  Christa lives near Fond du Lac, Wisconsin with her husband and two daughters.
