For twelve years and counting, VSLLC participants have found greater clarity, invigorated passion about their deeper purpose, and enhanced energy as they move into greater servant leadership.
Connect with a small group of servant leaders from around the world – dedicated not only to their own growth but also to the support of each member in our group.
1. To notice and cultivate “what you already do well” so that you can lead more effectively.
2. To deepen capacities for listening, accessing inner wisdom, and taking courageous next steps.
3. New, creative ways to quicken your growth curve, awaken possibilities within, and make a greater difference in your organization and community.
4. To “be present” within a community of like-minded individuals and receive the gift of a highly supportive network of dedicated servant-leaders.
You’ll join nine other individuals on the journey of servant leadership. Past participants have come from a variety of disciplines, from work in corporations, public service, education, nonprofit, and other sectors. The facilitators will bring a breadth of experience, but expect to learn just as much from your VSLLC® peers. Some of our participants maintain relationships beyond their course.
Participants virtually attend eight 90-minute tele-circles (a phone call that is intentionally a “circle” so that every person has an opportunity to speak and be deeply heard). Each call is focused on a theme of servant leadership and participants are sent short but powerful readings to inspire and prepare for calls.
Authentic conversations within the sessions are facilitated by Dr. Deborah Welch, Dr. Virginia Gilmore, Duane Trammell, M.Ed. and Matthew Kosec, M.A. Facilitators have spent decades of their lives working with both individuals and groups in servant leadership principles and practices.
Deborah is a leadership coach and educator. Her experience teaching and guiding research at the doctorate level keeps her on the growing edge of great learning processes and practices.
Focusing on the importance of leadership as relationship, Ginny continues to learn through writing, facilitating, mentoring and supporting others in their journey and their work of servant leadership.
Matt is the Principal Consultant at Matthew Kosec Consulting, LLC where he serves clients with a servant leadership based approach. Matt believes in life-long learning and that the best leaders are always open to be challenged to grow.
Duane is President and Founding Partner of Trammell McGee-Cooper and Associates, Inc. As a business educator and leadership development specialist, Duane’s forté is designing and delivering participant-based learning.
