Topics Covered

Fostering a Servant Leadership Mindset: Insight and understanding of essential practices of servant leadership that bring out the best in ones self and others to achieve shared outcomes.

Developing Self-Awareness: Being aware of one’s innate way of thinking and working that can inspire or limit positive results.

Improving Communication: Develops skills for engaging in creative and possibility-oriented thinking as a way of building relationships, aligning expectations, overcoming limiting beliefs and having critical conversations.

Cultivating Trust and Accountability: Equips participants with personal and group practices foundational to building relationships and impactful teams.

Achieving Impact: Although goals and short-term results are essential, participants will be asked to work toward aligning  organizational and personal purpose for greater impact.

Methods Utilized

Participants gain insight into their own leadership philosophy by examining past and present leadership philosophies through the following methods:

  • CliftonStrengths® Assessment
  • Learning Circle Model
  • Workbook
  • Individual Reflection
  • Small-Group Engagement Exercises
  • Large Group Discussion

Sophia uses a Learning Circle Model for this program where participates engage in conversations based on what they name as wanting most to learn within the framework of the program. We assume everyone has something to share and everyone has something to learn – ideas, “ah-ha!” moments, and best practices come from the interaction between participants themselves, which can’t be replicated.
