What gets in the way of wonder and curiosity for you? How do we deal with times when you know in your body and mind that something is disturbing you?
Robert Greenleaf observed and wrote, “Awareness is not a giver of solace—it is just the opposite. It is a disturber and an awakener.”
As leaders, we often find ourselves in situations that do not feel safe. Maybe others are looking to us for answers and there doesn’t seem to be one. Maybe something happened to us or around us that is causing us to feel disconnected from our values or what we really care about. Maybe, we are facing a personal loss or trauma.
Regardless, many people can name a time when they were starkly aware in their mind and body that something doesn’t feel right.
How do we move forward as leaders from a place of fear or trauma and open up space within our mind and body that allows curiosity and positive energy to start flowing again?
In this session Caroline Coughlin Lampereur will walk through processes from bringing more curiosity and wonder into our mind and body when we find ourselves feeling stuck or disturbed.
