Board Bios: Meet Garry Moïse
Garry Moïse is a passionate advocate for global education and community growth, serving as an educator and program director and grounded in values that guide both his personal and professional life.
As Director of the TRIO/Upward Bound Math and Science (UBMS) Program at Marian University in Fond du Lac, Garry provides college and career preparation services to a select group of high school students to help them navigate their futures with confidence.
In addition to this vital role, Garry is an adjunct faculty and teaches International Business, sharing his global insights and leadership experience with the next generation.
Impact Beyond the Classroom
Garry has been an active board member at Sophia Partners since 2018 and served as Vice-President in 2022 and board president from 2023-2024. His connection to this nonprofit runs deep:

Fond du Lac Community Builder
Garry and his wife, Claudia, are raising their three children—two sons and a daughter—in the heart of Fond du Lac. His love for the community is evident in the way he shows up for it.
- In January 2023, he was honored with the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Spirit Award at the Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast held at Marian University, recognizing his lasting impact on youth, education, and equity.
- In August 2018, he gave a presentation at TEDxFondduLac on the topic of “Serving and Leading with a Quality Mindset.”
Outside of his professional and civic roles, Garry finds joy and balance in creative pursuits, including: gardening, nature photography, blogging, cooking, digital arts, and music.
