Samantha King has been with Sophia to grow its community-driven leadership programs in the greater Fond du Lac region since 2022. As the Operations Coordinator, she joins Executive Director & Learning Facilitator, Christa Williams, in leading efforts to share information and build relationships with individuals and organizations committed to a collaborative leadership philosophy.
“Some people have said that Sophia is a best kept secret when it comes to leadership development programs and services,” Williams said. “With the addition of Samantha to our team, we want to change that. We want people to know what we do, why we do it, and have access to the value and expertise we offer.”
Having obtained a Bachelor of English from Wisconsin Lutheran College with experience in grant writing and organizational leadership, she is well-equipped to oversee Sophia’s daily operations, and update written content, and grow the organization’s influence through blogs, social media, and in-person and online programs. She said, “I intend to apply my experiences working in nonprofits and secondary education to extend Sophia’s mission of developing transformative leaders throughout our communities.”
