As Executive Director for the past 19 years, Christa brings transformative leadership to life as Sophia’s operational leader, learning facilitator, and chief strategist. With nearly 30 years of executive leadership experience in corporate, nonprofit, and educational settings, Christa has been mentored, guided, and inspired by the foremost scholars in today’s servant leadership movement. 

She is dedicated to leading with a servant’s heart and “engaging and igniting the potential” in people to live together as a caring community. Christa engages program participants through a conversational learning style, perfect for workshops, keynotes, and facilitated learning experiences.

As a certified Gallup® Global Strengths Coach since 2021, she specializes in the following areas: Servant Leadership, World Cafe’ Facilitation, Strengths-based Leadership, and Learning Experience Design. She takes inspiration from the work of Robert K. Greenleaf, Peter Block, Peter Senge, Parker Palmer, Dawna Markova, and Margaret Wheatley to name just a few.

Christa earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from UW-Oshkosh and has completed master’s-level coursework in Servant Leadership at Viterbo University. She has additional training and certifications in the areas of servant leadership, compassionate listening, and group facilitation. Christa lives near Fond du Lac, Wisconsin with her husband.
