Ethical Behavior in Organizations

As people reflect upon some of the major events that have occurred and are continuing to occur across the globe, we can’t help but wonder how divided humans have become and how uncivil our behavior has become toward one another.  The conduct of people we see, hear or read about every day is shocking and seemingly without regard for others.  Where is servant leadership?  What has happened to ethical behavior?  Have we become so disillusioned that we have completely lost sight of how we should treat other human beings?

In this session, we are going to consider these questions from an organizational point of view:

• What is ethical behavior?
• Who defines it?
• Who is responsible for it?
• What is your role?
• Accountability/mutuality
• Can individuals, teams, organizations and communities change what is going on in the world?

Steve Thiry, Sophia Transformative Leadership Partners (Sophia), Program Director will be the facilitator or this session.  Steve will speak from more than twenty-eight years of organizational experience as the foundation for guiding this discussion.
