October 15, 2021 @ 2:30 am - 3:30 am

Stress, Burn-out, and Servant Leadership

October 15, 2021 7:30am – 8:30am

Location:  Join others in-person or online for this Community of Practice Session.  In-person attendees can join us at the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac located at 75 W Scott Street – Fond du Lac, WI.  Doors will open at 7:15 am.  A ZOOM option is also available for this session for those who wish to join online.

When you’re aspiring to lead as a servant-leader, you need to have the energy to serve other people’s well-being and growth.  The reality, it is simply not possible to always be at our best.  It is easy to let the busyness of personal and professional commitments cause stress and burnout.

In this session we will discuss:

  • The signs and symptoms of burn-out;
  • Why servant-leaders may be more prone to burn-out;
  • Robert Greenleaf’s wisdom to make conscious choices to limit stress and burnout;
  • How small changes can have a positive impact on showing up as a servant-leader.

Our guide for this content will be Christa Williams, Executive Director and Learning Facilitator of Sophia Transformative Leadership Partners Inc.
