He held the Assistant Chief’s position since 2013, and has served as the leader of the administrative branch of the department, which put him in charge of several key department functions, including personnel, hiring, training, budget and policy development and implementation including project manager for the Public Safety Training facility.  Steve will bring his years of organizational leadership experience, development of leadership training programs and his personal modeling of servant leadership to his role in Sophia.  When not at work, Steve enjoys spending time with family, friends and with nature in northern Wisconsin.
