DESCRIPTION:This month’s topic: Love Them Anyway\nThe Effective Starting Point for Servant Leadership\n  \nLove is a universal concept. So as a leader\, how do you bring love into the workplace in a way that is appropriate? \nIn this month’s Servant Leadership Community of Practice\, we will discuss Dr. Kent Keith’s speech\, “Love Them Anyway\,” which was presented at the 2023 Conference on Servant Leadership at Viterbo University. He says that “love is the effective starting point for servant leadership.” \nHe suggests there are eight things you can do to demonstrate that you care about your colleagues\, stakeholders\, and employees in the workplace. \nUsing small and large group discussions with peers\, attendees will explore key learning lessons from Keith’s speech to:\n \n\nAnswer the question: “Why is love the starting point for effective servant leadership?”\nDevelop appropriate behaviors to show your colleagues\, stakeholders\, and employees that you care about them.\nFind unique ways to be an effective servant-leader to help your organization be successful in serving others.\n\nThis session will be facilitated by Christa Williams\, Sophia Partners Executive Director and Learning Facilitator. \n*The session will be recorded. \nRegistration is required for the Zoom link.
