SUMMARY:FABOH Leadership Training
DESCRIPTION:Leadership Trainings are in partnership with the Fond du Lac Area Businesses on Health\, otherwise known as FABOH. Each leadership training workshop features a different topic and speaker to support employee engagement. \nThis series will provide quarterly training opportunities for all FABOH member employees but is aimed specifically at supervisors\, managers\, directors\, or any other employees who currently lead others within their organization or aspire to in the future. \nHow Full is Your Plate?\nPrioritization and portion control strategies for people with too much on their plate\nPeople often get promoted to leadership positions for their ability to multitask\, make quick decisions and accomplish goals.  With success in these areas\, more and more is added to people’s span of care and area of responsibility until we hear people saying\, “I have so much on my plate.”   \nIn this workshop we will use the “too much on my plate” metaphor to explore: \n\nWhat to do when we recognize that there is too much on our plate?  \nUnderstanding how things are getting on your plate in the first place.\nEnsuring that everything on our plate should be there by creating time and space for reflection and prioritization. \nSharing what’s on our plate with others through delegation and communication strategies. \nHealthy planning for what is on your plate. \n\nSpeaker: Christa Williams \nDate: Wednesday\, February 26\, 2025 \nTime: 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. \nLocation: Marian University – Stayer Center \nPre-registration is required.
