SUMMARY:Community Conversation
DESCRIPTION:The Fond du Lac Area Women’s Fund\, in collaboration with Sophia Transformative Leadership Partners\, is excited to invite you to a Community Conversation on Thursday morning\, July 11th. \n\nAs an organization serving women\, we know the importance of leaning in to the issues facing our community so that we can work strategically in making an impact that is sustainable and meaningful.\n\n\n\nToday\, we began our first of three Community Conversations with the focus being on women serving on boards.  The conversation has just begun and we look forward to talking with more women to identify ways we can support women of all levels of experience serving on boards across our community.\n\n\n\nThe Women’s Fund is ready to engage\, listen\, and take thoughtful action! That’s what we’ve done for 20 years and we welcome you to join us in doing this for the next 20+ years!\n\n\n\nA special note of gratitude to Sophia Transformative Leadership Partners for teaming up to help lead the conversation\, to Mr. & Mrs. Catering for providing an excellent light breakfast\, and to the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes for hosting us!

SUMMARY:Servant Leadership Community of Practice
DESCRIPTION:This month’s topic: Leading by Building Community\nWhat does community mean to you? \nDo you think about geography\, like your city or neighborhood? Do you think of the people surrounding you: your family and friends? Did you think of your workplace? Or\, maybe you think of society as a whole? \nDepending on your lens\, community can have one or all these definitions. There is so much research out now about the importance of belonging to and building community. In this session\, facilitated by Christa Williams\, Sophia Partners Executive Director and Learning Facilitator\, we will explore: \n\nCommunity through the lens of servant leadership\nWorkplaces as community\nBuilding community – necessity and ‘how to’\n\n  \nAbout this Conversation \nServant Leadership Community of Practice is a fully virtual offering for learning about your individual servant leadership strengths and learning new practices through small group discussion\, facilitated conversations\, and personal reflection. This event occurs on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. CST via Zoom. \nProgram Overview \nCommunity of Practice sessions are amazing opportunities for any and all leaders to gather and learn from each other. Through these monthly sessions\, attendees build\, share\, and learn from others as a community of transformative leaders. It’s highly interactive and each month a different servant leadership topic is explored. Learn more about the Community of Practice program here!
