DESCRIPTION:Leadership Trainings are in partnership with the Fond du Lac Area Businesses on Health\, otherwise known as FABOH. Each leadership training workshop features a different topic and speaker to support employee engagement. \nThis series will provide quarterly training opportunities for all FABOH member employees but is aimed specifically at supervisors\, managers\, directors\, or any other employees who currently lead others within their organization or aspire to in the future. \nLeading Through Conflict and Confrontation\nSpeaker: Allison Garner\, Thoughtly \nDate: Thursday\, May 9\, 2024 \nTime: 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. \nLocation: Marian University – Stayer Center \nPre-registration is required. DESCRIPTION:This month’s topic: Leading Transition\nVery early in his life Robert Greenleaf heeded the advice of a college professor to “create change from inside a large institution\,” and he accomplished just that during his decades of work with AT&T. \nSo often we resign to responding to change and fail to recognize that as leaders we have both the influence\, power\, and opportunity to create the transition and change we wish to see in the world\, not simply react to it. \nUsing Dr. Henry Cloud’s\, “Necessary Endings” as a resource\, we’ll discuss: \n\nIdentifying where endings and “pruning” are critical in our leadership.\nAdopting intentional change mindsets and roles.\nPracticing foresight to help change become less daunting.\n\nThis session will be facilitated by Matt Kosec\, Principal Consultant at Matthew Kosec Consulting\, LLC. \nAbout this Conversation \nServant Leadership Community of Practice is a fully virtual offering for learning about your individual servant leadership strengths and learning new practices through small group discussion\, facilitated conversations\, and personal reflection.
